In 1992 he performed a special act for the Olympic Committee, being Mr. Samaranch the president of the IOC (International Olympic Committee).

In 1993, as a special event, Jesús Cortes acted in a show for the Turkish soccer team of Galatasaray, in the Estudio 54 of the Paralelo in Barcelona. The show was broadcast in several countries via satellite.

In June 2002, Jesús Cortes performed at the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester, England. Accompanied by his Company, he carried out performances at several universities of the city, and gave flamenco courses to fans and professional students of the Institute.

In July 2004 began the show A mi Aire in Barcelona, with 14 artists in scene. It was a show that honoured the memory of his grandfather. Cortes’s grandfather was a dancer, and he transmitted to him all the flamenco energy that he has.

In September 2004 Cortes presented his show A mi Aire in La Casa de España in Castres, France.

During the year of 2005, he presented the Opera Carmen de Bizet on various locations, reflecting versatility to combine the purest of flamenco with other disciplines of music: in this case with opera music, sharing the stage with grateful artists of the opera world. He has also dedicated time to the creation of his new show Romanó that is a homage to the suffering of the gypsy people from, which has been the case since the Holocaust.
